Welcome to the Website of the 9th Warrington East (Gorse Covert) Scout Group. This site is aimed at providing up to date information for the parents and members of the group. Most information for Beavers is sent home by letter, less so for the Cubs. The Scouts should refer to the website for all information.

Meetings
All sections meet on Thursday nights at Gorse Covert Primary School, unless advised otherwise. We normally only meet when the school is open. We normally finish one week before the school at Christmas.
The sections at Gorse Covert meet as follows:
Beavers 17:30 - 18:45 Boys and Girls aged 6-8
Cubs 18:30 - 20:00 Boys and Girls aged 8 - 10.5
Scouts 19:30 - 21:15 Boys and Girls aged 10.5 - 14
Parents Committee
The group relies on its parents for the successful running of the group, for administration, secretarial and financial control.
The Parents committee hold three regular meetings. They are on the second Thursday that the school is open of each new term.
AGM we have an AGM typically around the end of May or Early June. We do need your support at the AGM please try to attend.
